Process of making 'Feels Perfect Grip'

Materiel Selection

We have done study of various materials for grip development. We use high-quality dense, hardwood with a smooth grain which can withstand the wear and tear of shooting

Shaping the Grip

We cut the wood into symmetrical and evenly shaped grip-sized blocks and sand these blocks to a smooth finish, using progressively finer grits of sandpaper until the surface is free of any roughness or blemishes. Once blocks are ready, we trace the outline of the grip onto the wood blocks, using a template or the grip of a weapon then we cut out the grip using a saw or router, taking care to follow the traced lines as closely as possible. We shape the grip using a variety of woodworking tools for desired contour and ergonomics

Data Collection

Details of shooter's hand and palm are collected by our team through an easy-to-use form. We also have 3D scanning and zero error modeling for higher customization

Stippling and Final Treatment

Once we have grip in desired contour and ergonomics, it goes through stippling and final treatment. Stippling is done on the surfaces of grip that comes in contact with palm to increase the surface areas and enhances sweat absorption. We sand it again, using a high grit sandpaper to achieve a smooth, polished finish and then use a wood sealer or oil to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty

3D Modeling

Based on the data collected, our team makes the ‘Feels Perfect’ model of the hand and grip. The collected data is stored in our repository for future reference

Once it is ready, We Install the grip onto the weapon and test the grip to ensure it is comfortable and provides a secure grip on the weapon. We also test grip's durability and stability on the weapon. We make any necessary adjustments to the shape or finish as needed. Once tested, we perform a final quality check to ensure that the grips meet all necessary standards. Each grip is Inspected for any imperfections or defects in the wood or finish

What Our Customers Say About Us?

Testimonials

My son is a 10 Meter Air Pistol Shooter and he uses Morini 162 EI. His grip was not fitting properly so we ordered Kentro’s Feels Perfect Grip. Their process of taking measurement was very smooth and Grip was delivered within committed time to us. My son feels more comfortable with this grip compared to the stock grip. We really like the build quality of it. Overall, we are satisfied with the Grip and we will surely recommend to fellow shooters.
